This is ‘Hello’

Firstly, I am now officially Mrs. Sage! Hence the new name “A Vintage Wife”.

Secondly, I’ve moved! Not in the physical sense (although Mr Sage & I are planning that later). No, my little space on the inter-webs has had a shuffle. I’m now working on WordPress, with a new domain, a new look and fresher content

I decided to make the move for various reasons, but mostly because I realised I didn’t really enjoy my space anymore and I started to resent blogging. Despite growing my blog from scratch, it wasn’t making me happy anymore and the passion seemed to be fizzling out.

I had a tonne going on in my life and I think I felt a little burnt out. However, I felt so guilty for considering giving up on the hours and hours sat at my dining table whimpering at the fact I couldn’t code as well as all the time I spent noting down every little thought about DIY projects in case I could blog it later.

I thought back to the day I decided to create that little space. It was a morning in June, I woke up filled with so much conviction. I said to Mr. Sage, “I’m going to write a blog & I’m going to film videos & put them on the internet.”  

I didn’t want to lose that person who was so full of conviction and utter certainty that they would make this work just because I was tired. I needed a break and that’s where self-care, yoga and meditation came in (however, more on that in later blog). I will always have a that little space on Wix in my heart and I won’t delete those pages. They will stay just mine as a memento of where it all started.

Looking to the future I have a clean slate that’s a bit more professional. The blogosphere is so full of such wonderful, creative people and I think my new site now cuts the mustard!

I’m a big believer in surrounding yourself with people & things that spark joy in your life, which is why I’m thrilled to have made this change. So here we are! I’m back ready to start a fresh, with a cleaner website and a better idea of what I want to do In terms of content.

You will be pleased to hear that I’m back with my vintage roots. One of the main things I loved about the old blog was getting to share my passion for retro & vintage style. so I’m excited to be bringing it back.

I’m also going to be sharing, thrifty life hacks, baking (my other passion) and of course crafts/DIY. Oh yes! I’m also now a Vegetarian so expect more veggie content.

For those of you who read my old blog “KayCeeCreates” thank you, I appreciate each & everyone one of you. I hope you will continue to follow me on this new adventure.

For those of you who are new, I promise it’s going to be a magical ride!
